Whole-home energy efficiency improvements
The Home Performance Solutions (HPS) program helps homeowners improve comfort, energy performance and savings through comprehensive, assessment-driven upgrades. Using a whole-home approach, the program evaluates how your home’s systems work together and identifies customized energy efficiency improvements that deliver lasting results.

The Home Performance Solutions program installs energy-saving upgrades in your home at no additional cost to you.
Trade ally network
Entergy Louisiana partners with a variety of local businesses that perform work for the energy efficiency programs. Please note that it is common practice for our authorized trade allies serving your community to knock on doors or leave material to offer the services provided by these programs. Authorized trade allies wear Entergy Solutions badges that include their photo, name and company name.
Home energy assessment
Through the Home Performance Solutions program, an authorized Entergy Louisiana trade ally will conduct a comprehensive home energy assessment to evaluate your home’s energy efficiency and identify opportunities for savings.
Based on the assessment results, you’ll receive personalized recommendations for improving your home’s energy performance. Eligible energy-saving upgrades may be available at no additional cost, while other qualifying improvements may be offered at a discounted rate through program incentives.
With your approval, the trade ally can install eligible measures during the visit, making it easy to start saving energy and improving home comfort right away.

Ways to save energy
As part of the Home Performance Solutions program, Entergy will offer the following services at no additional cost to qualifying customers:
Direct Install measures
The measures below are eligible for installation at no additional cost:
- Advanced power strip – Advanced power strips reduce wasted standby power from electronics and help lower electricity use. Built-in surge protection also helps protect devices from power fluctuations.
- Smart thermostat – Smart thermostats automatically adjust heating and cooling settings based on your household’s schedule and preferences. By optimizing energy use, they can help improve comfort and lower energy costs year-round.
- Energy-efficient showerheads* – Efficient showerheads use up to 40% less water than standard showerheads, helping reduce the energy needed to heat water. Eligible showerheads may be replaced with new high-efficiency models.
- Kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators* – Entergy’s energy-efficient faucet aerators reduce water use by approximately 31% while maintaining performance. Using less hot water can help lower water-heating energy costs.
*Customers can only receive water-saving measures if they have an electric hot water heater.
Discounted measures
The measures below are eligible for incentives that may cover the full cost:
- Air conditioner tune-ups – A professional tune-up helps your air conditioning system operate more efficiently, improving comfort, enhancing performance and reducing energy costs.
- Ceiling insulation – Ceiling insulation helps keep your home comfortable year-round by reducing heat loss in winter and limiting heat gain during the summer.
- Air sealing – Air sealing helps reduce unwanted air leaks throughout your home, improving comfort, enhancing indoor air quality, and lowering heating and cooling costs.
- Duct sealing – Sealing leaky ductwork helps ensure conditioned air reaches the rooms where it’s needed, improving comfort, energy efficiency and system performance.
Program eligibility
You must be a current Entergy Louisiana residential customer (renter or homeowner) who:
- Lives in a single-family home.
- Live in a multifamily home with up to four units.
Home requirements
To qualify, your home must:
- Have a central ducted heating and cooling system with a working air conditioner and/or electric heat.
- Be at least one year old.
