Nelson Plant Unit 6 is a coal-fired generating unit that began commercial operation in 1982 and has been producing safe, low-cost power for over 30 years. Located near Westlake, Louisiana, the Nelson Plant is committed to providing a source of reliable power in the Gulf Coast Region.
