Making a positive impact

Entergy Louisiana’s dedication to community well-being goes beyond just providing reliable power – it’s about making a positive impact on the lives of residents across the state. The company’s commitment to contributing $100 million in corporate funds to local communities, schools, charities, and non-profits is a testament to its belief in the power of giving back. These contributions support a wide range of programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing education, health and social services, ensuring that Entergy Louisiana’s philanthropic efforts have a lasting and positive impact on the state’s residents.

Education is a key area of focus for Entergy Louisiana’s community investments. By supporting local schools and educational programs, the company is helping to ensure that Louisiana’s children have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Whether it’s funding for classroom supplies, scholarships, or after-school programs, Entergy Louisiana is committed to helping students achieve their full potential. This investment in education is about more than just the present—it’s about preparing the next generation of leaders who will help shape the future of the state.

In addition to education, Entergy Louisiana’s community investments support health and social services programs that provide critical assistance to those in need. From funding local hospitals and clinics to supporting food banks and shelters, the company is helping to ensure that all Louisianans have access to the resources they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. These investments are especially important in times of crisis, such as during natural disasters or economic downturns, when communities are most in need of support.

Entergy Louisiana’s commitment to community well-being is also reflected in the volunteer efforts of its employees. The company encourages its employees to give back to their communities through volunteer work, whether it’s helping out at a local food bank, mentoring students, or participating in community clean-up events. These volunteer efforts are a key part of Entergy Louisiana’s corporate culture, and they demonstrate the company’s belief that making a positive impact on the community is everyone’s responsibility.
