Troy Heytens
Vice President, Hyperscale Execution

Troy Heytens serves as vice president of hyperscale execution for Entergy Louisiana, a role he assumed in April 2026. In this position, he leads execution on behalf of the company’s hyperscale customers, supporting projects representing multi-billion-dollar investments. He is responsible for driving cross-functional coordination across operations, regulatory, capital projects and customer engagement teams to ensure seamless execution and deliver value to both customers and the company.
Heytens plays a critical role in advancing Entergy Louisiana’s strategy to support large-scale customer growth, including new commitments with Meta. His leadership helps position the company to meet evolving customer and regulatory expectations while delivering on complex, high-impact initiatives. He reports directly to Phillip May, president and CEO of Entergy Louisiana, and serves as a member of the company’s leadership team.
Heytens joined Entergy in 2012 and brings more than a decade of experience across a broad range of leadership roles within the organization. He previously led the projects organization at Waterford 3 nuclear plant and later headed the Capital Projects group, overseeing the execution of large-scale transmission projects across Entergy’s operating companies. He also served as director of corporate planning, where he was responsible for financial forecasting and supported the Entergy Board of Directors Finance Committee. Most recently, he led commercial operations in system planning and operations, managing large-scale commercial agreements for solar and other energy resources.
Prior to joining Entergy, Heytens spent 12 years with the United States Navy’s nuclear propulsion program in Washington, D.C., including serving as program manager for the design and construction of the Ford-class aircraft carrier nuclear propulsion plant.
Heytens holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Macalester College, a master’s degree in engineering science from the U.S. Navy Postgraduate School and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He also serves as a trustee at St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie, Louisiana.
