Our Small Commercial Solutions program helps business owners identify cost-effective opportunities to improve your building’s energy efficiency and reduce energy expenses. Through incentives for eligible equipment upgrades and improvements, your business can save energy, lower maintenance costs, create a more comfortable environment for employees and customers, and support long-term growth.
Designed for businesses with an average monthly demand of less than 100 kW, this program provides simple, accessible solutions that make it easier to invest in energy efficiency and start saving.

Trade ally network
Entergy Louisiana partners with a variety of local businesses that perform work for the energy efficiency programs. Please note that it is common practice for our authorized trade allies serving your community to knock on doors or leave material to offer the services provided by these programs. Authorized trade allies wear Entergy Solutions badges that include their photo, name and company name.
How to participate
Getting started is easy. From the initial assessment to project completion, our network of approved trade allies will help guide your business through every step of the process.
- Request an assessment – A business owner or trade ally submits a request for an energy assessment.
- Complete the assessment – A trade ally evaluates your facility, identifies energy-saving opportunities, and provides a proposal for eligible upgrades.
- Review and approve the proposal – Once you approve the recommended improvements, the project can move forward.
- Schedule and complete installation – Your trade ally coordinates and completes the installation of qualifying energy-efficient equipment.
- Complete the final review and inspection – After installation, all required paperwork is submitted, and a final review and inspection are conducted to verify project completion.
- Receive your incentive – Once the project is approved, the incentive is processed and issued.

Prescriptive Solutions
Get prescriptive incentives on common energy –efficiency technologies. These one-to-one equipment upgrades include:

- Downlight retrofit kits
HVAC
- High-efficiency tune-ups
- Smart thermostats
Looking for more ways to save? Incentives may also be available for a variety of additional prescriptive energy efficiency measures, including commercial food service equipment and other qualifying technologies identified through the program.
How much can your business receive?
Eligible small businesses may receive incentives covering up to 80% of the approved project cost, up to a maximum of $15,000 per account per calendar year. Incentive funding is subject to program eligibility requirements and available funding. Incentive amounts may not exceed the approved project cost and will be determined based on qualifying measures and program guidelines.
These incentives are designed to help eligible small businesses reduce upfront investment costs for energy-efficiency improvements while lowering energy consumption and operating expenses.
