The Multifamily Solutions program helps owners and property managers of properties with five or more units improve energy performance through comprehensive assessments and targeted upgrades. By addressing opportunities in both residential units and common areas, the program can help reduce energy costs, enhance resident comfort, and improve overall property efficiency.

Trade ally network
Entergy Louisiana partners with a variety of local businesses that perform work for energy efficiency programs. Please note that it is common practice for our authorized trade allies serving your community to knock on doors or leave material to offer the services provided by these programs. Authorized trade allies wear Entergy Solutions badges that include their photo, name and company name.
Property energy assessment
The Multifamily Solutions program begins with a property energy assessment, a comprehensive evaluation of your property’s energy usage designed to identify efficiency opportunities in both common areas and individual resident units.
Depending on your property’s size and energy usage, you may qualify to receive this assessment at no out-of-pocket cost. Following the assessment, you’ll receive customized recommendations to help improve your property’s energy performance and reduce energy waste.
If energy-saving opportunities are identified, qualifying core measures may be installed at no additional cost by an authorized Entergy trade ally. With your approval, eligible improvements can be implemented to help enhance resident comfort, lower energy consumption, and support overall property efficiency.

Interested in making improvements to your multifamily property such as adding insulation or HVAC upgrades? Take advantage of incentives available through the Commercial and Industrial Solutions program.
Available energy efficiency solutions
As part of the Multifamily Solutions program, Entergy offers a range of energy-efficiency services and improvements at no additional cost. Designed to benefit both property owners/managers and residents, the program provides installation of cost-effective energy-saving measures in resident units as well as common areas. The following services at no additional cost to qualifying customers:
Direct install measures
The measures below are eligible for installation at no additional cost:
- Advanced power strip – Advanced power strips reduce wasted standby power from electronics and help lower electricity use. Built-in surge protection also helps protect devices from power fluctuations.
- Smart thermostat – Smart thermostats automatically adjust heating and cooling settings based on your household’s schedule and preferences. By optimizing energy use, they can help improve comfort and lower energy costs year-round.
- Energy-efficient showerheads* – Efficient showerheads use up to 40% less water than standard showerheads, helping reduce the energy needed to heat water. Eligible showerheads may be replaced with new high-efficiency models.
- Kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators* – Entergy’s energy-efficient faucet aerators reduce water use by approximately 31% while maintaining performance. Using less hot water can help lower water-heating energy costs.
*Customers can only receive water-saving measures if they have an electric hot water heater.
Discounted measures
The measures below are eligible for incentives that may cover the full cost:
- Air conditioner tune-ups – A professional tune-up helps your air conditioning system operate more efficiently, improving comfort, enhancing performance and reducing energy costs.
- Ceiling insulation – Ceiling insulation helps keep your home comfortable year-round by reducing heat loss in winter and limiting heat gain during the summer.
- Air sealing – Air sealing helps reduce unwanted air leaks throughout your home, improving comfort, enhancing indoor air quality, and lowering heating and cooling costs.
- Duct sealing – Sealing leaky ductwork helps ensure conditioned air reaches the rooms where it’s needed, improving comfort, energy efficiency and system performance.
Program eligibility
The Multifamily Solutions program is available to current Entergy Louisiana customers with residential properties containing five or more dwelling units under one roof.
To participate, the property must have approval from the owner or property manager, and a meter number or account number for each unit must be provided during the enrollment process.
