Entergy’s Louisiana Utilities Wrapping Up Power Restoration

Restoration work over 90 percent complete

West Monroe, La. – Over 300 workers are wrapping up power restoration to 16,000 customers who lost electricity from a severe winter storm Friday.

At 1 p.m. today, crews had restored power to more than 15,800 Entergy Louisiana, LLC customers. Crews are continuing to work isolated outages in the hardest-hit areas of West Monroe, Jonesboro, Winnfield, Grayson and Winnsboro.

“We are nearing the end of the restoration effort,” said Jeff Aycock, regional customer service manager for Entergy Louisiana. “Customers who are still without electricity and are located in areas where power has been restored to others in their immediate area should call 1-800-9OUTAGE to report an individual outage problem.”

Entergy Louisiana, LLC crews were joined by restoration workers from Entergy’s Louisiana utilities across the state and contractor crews to assist in rapid power restoration.

Entergy’s Louisiana utility companies serve more than one million customers through the operating companies Entergy Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, L.L.C. With operations in southern, central and northeastern Louisiana, the companies are part of Entergy Corporation’s electric system serving 2.7 million customers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas.
